At Reposite, we understand the importance of your information and place a great deal of emphasis on protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) will explain how your personal information is dealt with and hopefully demonstrate our commitment to your security. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, www.reposite.io (the “Site”) and all related Services and software provided in connection with the Site (collectively, the “Services”).

Capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the definition set forth in the Reposite Terms of Service. 

Information We Collect

We collect information sent to us directly from you or as submitted by you through our Site:

  • Information you provide: There are various ways in which you voluntarily and willingly, provide us with personal information; For example, when registering for an account, accessing downloadable gated content or contacting us directly. The personal information we may collect as a result of the aforementioned processes, including without limitation, your name, phone number, email address, mailing address and company name (collectively, “Personal Data”)

  • Information collected through our Services: While using our Services, it’s likely that you will upload personal information relating to other individuals, including without limitation, reports, files, addresses or otherwise personal data (collectively, “Client Data”). Reposite processes Client Data under the direction of our users, and has no direct control or ownership of the Client Data. Reposite has no direct relationship with the individuals whose data it hosts pertaining to Client Data. You acknowledge and warrant that you have the authority to provide Client Data, and are responsible for complying with any regulations or laws that require providing notice, disclosure, and/or obtaining consent in accordance with this Privacy Policy prior to transferring the Client Data to Reposite for processing purposes.

  • Cookies & Tracking Technologies: Our servers are automatically configured to retain certain information stemming from your device through the application of various technologies, including, without limitation, cookies, embedded scripts, location-identifying technologies, file information and similar technology (collectively, “Tracking Technologies”). By interacting with our Site and in order to maximize your experience, we automatically store information such as your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, platform type, device type, operating system, date and time stamp, a unique ID that allows us to uniquely identify your browser, mobile device or your account, and the pages or other content that you view or interact with on the Services. We also collect information about the way you use our Services, for example, the site from which you came and the site to which you are going when you leave our Site, the pages you visit, the links you click, how frequently you access the Services, whether you access the Services from multiple devices, and other actions you take on the Service. We may also apply this technology to your email usage, for the purpose of defining when a user clicks, forwards or opens a message, among other applicable usages. We may collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools, to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Services and to understand more about the demographics of our users. If you would prefer not to share this information with Reposite, most browsers will allow you to reject cookies. Please note that by doing so, this action may negatively impact your experience using the Services, and the Services may not work properly. 

  • Integrated Applications: Similar to other websites, we may be required to gather information from integrated applications (each, “Integrated Application”) that you choose to access in conjunction with our Services. For example, you may be given the option to access or register for the Services through the use of your user name and passwords for certain services provided by third parties, such as through the use of your Google account, or otherwise have the option to authorize an Integrated Application to provide Personal Data or other information to us. By authorizing us to connect with these Integrated Applications, you warrant that we collect information as made available to us through these applications, and to use such information in compliance with this Privacy Policy. The data that we are authorized to access from these third parties is dependent on that third party's policies and in accordance with the settings that you and that third party have agreed upon. We encourage you to review, and if necessary, adjust your privacy settings with these third parties before integrating them with our Site.

  • Third party: It’s possible that we may also collect information from certain third parties including, but not limited to, Reposite affiliates and other publicly available resources. We may decide to combine this information with existing Personal Data and use it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. In doing so, it will allow us to expand and analyze our data for the advancement of the Services.

How We Use Information & Why We Collect It

We collect and process your Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • Where required by law, we obtain your consent to use and process your Personal Data for these purposes. Otherwise, we rely on another authorized legal basis (including but not limited to the (a) performance of a contract or (b) legitimate interest) to collect and process your Personal Data.

  • Functionality - We process your Personal Data in order to provide you with the functionality of Services in accordance with our Terms. 

  • Additional Purpose - We process your Personal Data in order to operate and maintain Services, and to communicate with you as needed and per your requests. 

How We Share Your Information

Reposite allows you to interact with others, including:

  • Others with Reposite accounts within your organization, as well as outside organizations that you explicitly invite to share information with;

  • Third-party vendors and other service providers that perform services on our behalf or that we enable integration with, as needed to carry out their work for us, which may include identifying and serving targeted advertisements, providing mailing services, providing tax and accounting services, contest fulfillment, web hosting, or providing analytic services;

  • The public when you provide feedback or certain Content on our Site. For example, if you post Content on our blog or comment on our social media sites, your information, such as your name, company name, state or province of residence or business, and your comments, may be displayed on our Site or on our social media pages;

  • Third parties as required by law or subpoena or if we reasonably believe that such action is necessary to (a) comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement; (b) to enforce our Terms of Service or to protect the security or integrity of our Services; and/or (c) to exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Reposite, our visitors, or others; We do not sell, trade, or rent your Personal Data to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any Personal Data regarding visitors and users, that does not reasonably identify you directly as an individual, with third parties such as our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.

You may be able to control the visibility of your shared information in your Account Settings. 

How We Protect your Information

Your information collected through our Site may be stored and processed in the United States. Although no security system is impenetrable, we use several industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and, where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.

How Long We Retain Information

We maintain Personal Data for no longer than necessary for the purposes set out and in accordance with our legal obligations and legitimate business interests, and only so long as you maintain an account with us. We may maintain de-identified data for a longer period of time in order to analyze aggregate trends and metrics.

In accordance with applicable privacy law, you may have the following rights with respect to your Personal Data that we hold:

  • Right of access. The right to obtain access to your Personal Data.

  • Right to rectification. The right to obtain rectification of your Personal Data without undue delay where that Personal Data is inaccurate or incomplete.

  • Right to erasure. The right to obtain the erasure of your Personal Data without undue delay in certain circumstances, such as where the Personal Data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or processed.

  • Right to restriction. The right to obtain the restriction of the processing undertaken by us on your Personal Data in certain circumstances, such as where the accuracy of the Personal Data is contested by you, for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of that Personal Data.
